Breakfast Foray The first FTBW Breakfast Foray took place on Sunday 4th November 2007, it was a big success. 28 people attended, kicking off at 8.30am I led a 2 hour foray on Hampstead Heath, where there was still a good showing of various types of fungi. Armillaria gallica (a type of Honey Fungus) was in plentiful supply. Following the 2 hour foray we all made our way to the Magdala Pub at the bottom of parliament hill, where a wholesome mushroom breakfast awaited us all. Appetites were completely satisfied with what seemed liked an ongoing supply of various mushroom dishes, scrambled egg, bacon, bread and coffee. The Magdala was the perfect venue for this type of event, being so close to the Heath and I must say the chefs did us and the place proud by doing a fantastic job.
